The University of Houston- Victoria these days received a $10,000 grant from a countrywide group in support of university programs to recruit and assist ladies pursuing stages in laptop technological know-how.
The National Center for Women and Information Technology provided funds to UHV to help with the university’s goals of increasing enrollment, retention, and graduation of women in undergraduate computer technology applications.
“These budget will be a fine addition to UHV’s intention of increasing the range of girl college students in our pc technology programs,” said Jeffrey Di Leo, dean of the UHV School of Arts and Sciences. “The university has created pc technology-related applications, which include the brand new summer season camp for lady center school college students, and we look ahead to seeing how this grant will enhance our female enrollment.”
UHV offers undergraduate and graduates laptop science levels.
